چکیده

Selenium (Se) is a nutritional component necessary for animal and plant development reproduction. nanoparticles (SeNPs) have high absorption rate during routine supplementation. In the current study, cell-free extract of Aspergillus terreus was used as reducing stabilizing agent in synthesis SeNPs using green eco-friendly method. The mycosynthesized were characterized by UV-visible spectrophotometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy, scanning microscopy. results characterization process showed that had spherical shapes sizes less than 100 nm. Results exhibited promising antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria where inhibition zones 14, 20, 16, 13 mm toward S. haemolyticus, aureus, E. coli, K. pneumoniae, respectively. However, it weak antifungal C. albicans, zone 12 mm. efficacy decolorization malachite dye investigated. illustrated rapid biodegradation dye, reaching up to 89% after 240 min. conclusion, successfully biosynthesized A. demonstrated antimicrobial photocatalytic activities.

Fungus-Mediated Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Aspergillus terreus

The biosynthesis of nanoparticles has received increasing attention due to the growing need to develop safe, cost-effective and environmentally friendly technologies for nano-materials synthesis. In this report, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized using a reduction of aqueous Ag(+) ion with the culture supernatants of Aspergillus terreus. The reaction occurred at ambient temperature a...

Streptomycetes: Characteristics and Their Antimicrobial Activities

The Streptomycetes are gram positive bacteria with a filamentous form that present in a wide variety of soil including composts, water and plants. The most characteristic of Streptomycetes is the ability to produce secondary metabolites such as antibiotics. They produce over two-thirds of the clinically useful antibiotics of natural origin (e.g., neomycin and chloramphenicol. Another characteri...
